SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

The Clan Baird Society Worldwide annual general meeting (AGM) will be held on August 9, 2008 during the Colorado Scottish Festival at the Highland Heritage Park in Highlands Ranch (just south of Denver).

Dale F. Baird, Sr., Past-President Emeritus has just announced that Clan Baird will be the Honored Clan at these two-day games!

The Clan Baird tent for the Honored Clan wIll be hosted by Dale F. Baird and we hope to have a large turnout of Clan Baird Society members joining us. This will give Clan Baird members the opportunity to:

• "Meet and Greet" with Dale, President Larry Burns and his wife Diane, Vice President Wrex Diem, and other Clan Baird officers and volunteers.
• Meet and listen to our awesome Clan Baird Piper, Hunter Owens Baird Beesch, who will lead Clan Baird and all the other Clans in the Parade of Tartans.
• Have a say and vote in the yearly Clan Baird business meeting (AGM).
• Show our Clan support for these Games.

If you have the opportunity, please plan to join Clan Baird members at these games and show the Games attendees what proud Scots Clan Baird members are. This is a tremendous opportunity for all members in the western staes since most Clan Baird activities have recently been held in the eastern regions.
